What can I say? Wife, mother, teacher, quilter? All are equally appropriate but somehow seem inadequate. I have been quilting for over 30 years.
Early on I was self-taught. The lack of quilt shops and money made it hard to do much more than use whatever I could find. Later, I took classes. Lots of classes! I was lucky enough to work at and teach in a local shop. Oh how I miss it! If anyone has any extra money lying around I would LOVE to the community a service and open a new one!
When pre-cut fabrics were introduced by Moda, I admit I was skeptical at first, but when i realized I could have a piece of every fabric in a line that I loved, well… you can guess. I am addicted! I love the convenience, the lack of scraps that I never know what to do with, and the creativity that comes from working inside the confines of a prescribed unit of fabric.
I love to teach and share what I am doing and hope you will come along with me on my adventures into The Land Of Easy Bake Quilts!
